Salvatore M. Pizzino, DDS, MAGD, attended the New York University College of Dentistry in New York, NY, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. Then, he served his general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital (1995).  He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Functional Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Pizzino is also a and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). In 2013, Dr. Pizzino received a Top Dentist Award in General Dentistry in the Best of the Connecticut Gold Coast awards. During his military career, he received the Army Commendation Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian in addition to English.
