Salvatore M. Pizzino, DDS, MAGD, is a well-versed dentist who is planning to open his new family dental practice, Woodway Family Dental, in September 2020 at 5525 Speegleville Rd, Woodway, TX. The practice will be serving the surrounding towns — Waco, Hewit, Laurana, Crawford, and China Spring in both General and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Pizzino has owned two practices in Connecticut prior to his current endeavors, Southport Family Dental and Westport Family Dental. He’s been an Invisalign Premier Provider since 2009. He has an impressive professional journey that spans twenty-five years and has an expansive knowledge and unrivaled expertise in dentistry. Dr. Pizzino serves on the Board of Peer Review of the CT State Dental Association and is a former president of the Bridgeport Dental Association. In 2007, he co-directed dental implant seminars at NYU. Dr.  Pizzino served in the Navy Reserves for 15 years in the Dental Corps, first as a Lieutenant and then as a Commander. Salvatore M. Pizzino, DDS, MAGD, attended the New York University College of Dentistry in New York, NY, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. Then, he served his general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital (1995).  He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Functional Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Pizzino is also  a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). In 2013, Dr. Pizzino received a Top Dentist Award in General Dentistry in the Best of the Connecticut Gold Coast awards. During his military career, he received the Army Commendation Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian in addition to English.
